The
MARC is guided by a Board of Directors, chaired by Dr.
Xiang Gao, and by a Board of Advisory Scientists composed
of well-known biologists. In addition, members of the
MARC Board of Associates serve as ambassadors for the
Institute. They support the Institute's scientific mission
through personal philanthropy and by sharing their leadership
skills in science, business, finance, education, communication,
and other fields.
In October 2001, molecular biologist Dr. Xiang Gao was
appointed as director of the MARC. Dr. Gao leads a scientific
staff consisting of 8 faculty members. |
