研究兴趣： 主要以果蝇为模式动物，从事发育生物学、细胞生物学、遗传学方面的研究。1）肌动蛋白细胞骨架的一些重要调控因子在果蝇眼发育中的功能和作用， 2）肌动蛋白细胞骨架的重要调控因子在正常发育的细胞迁移中以及在肿瘤转移中作用的分子机制，3）大规模的功能基因组筛选来确认在细胞迁移中和眼发育中的必需基因。
