2011年10月27日，澳大利亚西澳大学考察团来我所交流访问。
双方在模式所会议室进行了座谈交流，模式动物研究所所长高翔首先介绍了国家遗传工程小鼠资源库\模 式动物研究所的发展历史、发展意义、发展现状和国内国际地位，随后考察团参观了南京大学—南京生物医药研究院和澳大利亚西澳大学医学院合作共建的“骨关节 疾病联合研究中心”，并参观了资源库一些小鼠模型，考察团对我所的资源整合，合作共享及科研攻关方面给予高度肯定，对“骨关节疾病联合研究中心”提出了一 些建议，并期望能够进一步合作。
Dear all,
Dr. Jane Yu is a principal investigator at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School. She will come to MARC for a visit tomorrow afternoon. I arrange a seminar for her.
Dr. Yu’s research focuses on the regulation of the TSC1 and TSC2 tumor suppressor genes that are mutated in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and pulmonary layphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a highly gender-specific disease affecting young women.
Dr Yu’s seminar title is 肿瘤生长和转移机制：从LAM研究探讨雌激素的作用。The seminar will be held in the 1st floor auditorium starting at 1pm tomorrow afternoon.
